We are a small, skilled, distributed team of professionals who believe that company retreats and the whole MICE industry need adjustments for today’s work environment. As locals, we know these destinations like home, allowing us to craft tailor-made experiences only available to us.
Our story
Nomid started almost by chance. Our founder is a proud canary and a tremendous ambassador of the archipelago. While working remotely for a software company, they asked her to help plan their next offsite. That was 2015. Two years ago, this project started shaping with the help of two other remote professionals with three things in common: we’re all from popular tourist destinations, have a background in travel tech, and want to do things differently.
Our values
Tourism is a global powerhouse, shaping the economies and societies of many regions. Yet, it takes a heavy toll on the environment and local communities. As natives of these popular destinations, we’ve witnessed this toll firsthand. This personal connection fuels our belief that there’s a better way.
That’s why we partner only with local providers and hoteliers who strongly compromise on sustainability. Our mission is to share with teams worldwide the wonders of our destinations while leaving a positive impact on the local community and no trace in its environment.
